Sea-Dweller

The Rolex Sea-Dweller is a professional dive watch engineered for deep-sea exploration, offering a blend of rugged functionality and refined craftsmanship. Originally introduced in 1967, it was designed to meet the needs of saturation divers and features a helium escape valve to safely release gas during decompression. The modern Sea-Dweller has a 43mm Oystersteel case and is water-resistant to 1,220 meters (4,000 feet). It is powered by the Rolex Caliber 3235 movement, known for its accuracy, durability, and 70-hour power reserve. With its bold proportions, Cerachrom bezel, and Chromalight display for enhanced legibility underwater, the Sea-Dweller is both a tool watch and a statement piece, sitting between the Submariner and the more extreme Deepsea in Rolex’s dive watch lineup.
